The dutch colonial master! A Perfectly welded combination of colonial, country and contempoary use of space. This classic home touches on all the senses without truely comitting to any specific genre completely.
A true classic with no air of stuffiness, open and bright drawing the outside yet seperated and private where it needs to be.
A shoot like this requires a plan and cross seasonal execution to deliver it's context through the lens. It relies on light to tell half of it's story therefore it's passage from summer to fall was tracked to capture this essential component for the viewer.

The Cooper Union - New York's Death Star
Architecture By Morphosis
Photos By Adrian WM Jones
A documentary with a Sci-fi edge, inspired by the movies and a rainy winter's morning in Gotham .
The Cooper Union Building, designed by Thom Mayne of Morphosis was completed in 2009. While photographing the recent renovations to the flood damaged staircase I had the opportunity to give my interpretation of this iconic New York City landmark.
From a photographic perspective it is a building with a split personality, on a sunny day it makes itself known blasting light across Cooper Square, On darker days it cleverly sinks into itself revealing it's more surreal tendencies. 11 years on from it's creation.. Roll 'The Cooper Union - New York's Death Star'
Christina's World at Wuthering Heights
Architecture By Neil Pelone Architects
Photos By Adrian WM Jones
The meeting of two worlds with a Nordic twist. With structures inspired by the sweeping landscapes of Christina's World by Andrew Wyeth and a photographic sentiment that touches on 90's version of Wuthering Heights, this is a 21:9 cinematic architectural experience.
Ultra wide formats have been used to bring the viewer to the foot of the buildings and the edge of the rolling landscapes.
This is a determined design with a one track mind undeterred by the stark landscape and rural gloom of a New York winter.

Architectural Photographer
As an architectural photographer I aim to create images which are something more than singular structural depictions. I search for narratives and exploit them, fusing documentary and architectural lines with refined lighting techiniqes (where necessary) to create a collection of images with a common thread. Navigated by story, mood and structure I capture the work of the architect to deliver representations of buildings which are more than an assembly of light and shape.
